Joel Backman COO & CFO Meritech Capital

|
Joel Backman joined Meritech Capital in 2003 from IPWireless and is Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer responsible for all investment execution, investor relations, financial reporting and other operating and administrative functions. Prior to Meritech, Joel was Senior Director Business Development at IPWireless, a developer of wireless broadband technology, and before IPWireless, he was Vice President of Finance and Co-Founder of Ultimate, Inc., an entertainment marketplace established with International Management Group (IMG) and SFX. Earlier in his career, Joel held multiple senior financial management positions at Sunterra Corporation in both California and Europe after starting his career at KPMG. Joel holds a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Arizona with an emphasis in Finance and Accounting.

Sue Breedlove CFO Golden Gate Capital

Sue Breedlove, Chief Financial Officer, joined Golden Gate Capital in 2000. Prior to joining Golden Gate, Ms. Breedlove worked for eleven years both in private equity and in venture capital companies in San Francisco. Ms. Breedlove has a B.S. in Mathematics from Missouri State University. |

Tony Di Bona CFO & General Partner Alloy Ventures

Tony Di Bona is the Chief Financial Officer and a General Partner of Alloy Ventures, as well as a founding member of the firm. Tony is in charge of all finance, accounting, and computer operations for Alloy, and assists in financial due diligence. He also assists portfolio companies with their accounting, financial reporting, and computing systems. Tony’s career in venture capital started in 1988, and co-founded Alloy Ventures in 1996. Previously, Tony served as CFO for an Australian retailer, helping the company open its U.S. operation. He received a BEc, majoring in accounting and law, at Sydney University (1982). His other interests are photography, as well as hardware and software design of embedded computer systems.

Todd Forrest Partner & CFO JH Partners

Prior to JH Partners in 2011, Todd spent ten years at Hummer Winblad Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with $1 billion under management, as a Managing Director & CFO. Mr. Forrest played a key role in the structuring and negotiation of Hummer Winblad’s investments. Mr. Forrest provided advisory services to portfolio companies in the areas of business strategy development, contract negotiation, corporate governance, financing alternatives, and cash management strategies. Mr. Forrest was also responsible for Hummer Winblad’s financial, legal and operational matters and investor relations. Prior to joining Hummer Winblad, Mr. Forrest was the Vice President - Finance & Administration at Critical Path, Inc., a publicly traded software company, and a member of its Executive Staff. Mr. Forrest worked closely with the corporate and business development teams in structuring multiple acquisitions and key partnership agreements. Mr. Forrest oversaw worldwide financial planning, tax strategy, accounting, reporting, management information systems, treasury, and facilities. Prior to Critical Path, Mr. Forrest was an audit manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, where he delivered advisory services to multi-national public and private companies primarily in the technology, telecommunications, and financial services industries. Mr. Forrest is a founding Board member of the Northern California chapters of the Financial Executives Alliance and Private Equity CFO Organization. Mr. Forrest is a CPA and received a B.S. in Accountancy from Bentley University.

Harold Friedman CFO Vantagepoint Capital Partners

Harold joined VantagePoint from Acacia Venture Partners, where he spent five years as Vice President of Finance. Prior to Acacia, he was Assistant Controller for Lightspeed Venture Partners, a diversified venture capital and private equity firm in San Francisco, and a Staff Accountant and Assistant Controller for Weiss, Peck & Greer in both San Francisco and New York. Harold began his career as a staff accountant for BDO Seidman, a certified public accounting firm in New York. He is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated magna cum laude from Tulane University (BSM).

Gail Haney CFO Foundation Capital

Gail Haney, Chief Financial Officer, joined Foundation Capital in 1999. Prior to joining Foundation Capital, Gail was the Controller at Mohr Davidow Ventures from 1996 to 1999. Prior to Mohr Davidow, Gail was employed with Coopers and Lybrand, working as a senior associate in the audit practice. Gail holds a BS in Business Administration from San Jose State University, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Phil Jensen CFO Paul Capital

Phil Jensen joined Paul Capital in 2001 as Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for overseeing all accounting and tax activities, investor relations and services, information technology and the management of the firm’s administration. Mr. Jensen brings over 25 years of experience as a senior financial executive. His background includes the financial leadership of several organizations, such as Kaiser Foundation Health Plan and Hospitals, McKesson Corporation and Deloitte & Touche. Mr. Jensen received his B.S. from San Francisco State University.

Bonnie Kennedy Managing Director & CFO Trident Capital

Bonnie Kennedy joined Trident Capital in 1999 as Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer. Trident Capital is a venture capital and private equity firm with over $1.9 billion of assets under management. Before joining Trident Capital in 1999, she was a principal at Ernst & Young in charge of the venture capital practice in the San Francisco Bay Area. She began her career at Ernst & Young and gained diverse experience in various industries, including venture capital, private investment management and hedge funds, as well as financial services and manufacturing companies. During those years, Kennedy held positions in Ernst & Young's Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco offices. In January 2010, she was appointed to the Board of Trustees of the OU Foundation where she is serving as vice-chair of the audit and finance committee and a member of the investment committee. In addition, she is a member of the OU Associates and is a Life Member of the OU Alumni Association. She serves on the Price College of Business Board of Advisers, is a trustee of the Mortar Board National Foundation, is a member of the Ernst & Young Alumni Council of San Francisco and was recently appointed as a board member of the Financial Executives Alliance. Kennedy graduated with a BBA in Accounting with highest honors from the University of Oklahoma and is a Certified Public Accountant. She and her husband, George, have two children and live in Danville, California.

Robert Keppler CFO Saints Capital

Robert Keppler, Chief Financial Officer, previously worked as CFO of Centennial Ventures for ten years. Centennial Ventures is a firm with over $500 million of capital under active management. Prior to Centennial, Mr. Keppler worked for 18 years at Total Petroleum (North America) LTD., a multi-billion dollar public petroleum company. Mr. Keppler concluded his career at Total Petroleum in the positions of Vice President, Controller and Treasurer. Mr. Keppler started his career as a certified public accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers. Mr. Keppler received his Bachelor of Arts in Business from Capital University. He also completed the Executive Management Development Program at the University of Virginia Graduate Business School and the Graduate Tax Program at the University of Denver.
